Marina di Puolo is one of the most famous seaside resorts on the coast of Sorrento, situated between Sorrento (1km) and Massa Lubrense, and renowned for its wonderful beach with all the characteristics of an ancient fishing village.
The restaurant La Tavernetta offers a menu that exalts in the perfume and taste of the fish just caught from the sea. Among the more tasty first course we recommend in first place the house specialty: fisherman’s risotto but also “tubbettoni rucola and shrimps”, “scialatielli con I baffi” (homemade pasta with clams and parmesan) while for second course we recommend lemon flavored fish Sorrento style and “fried paranza” made with cod, mullets and anchovies and all other varieties of fish caught in the fishing net that morning.
As well as a fish menu, the Tavernetta also offers many other specialties from fresh pasta (pappardelle, ravioli and potato dumplings) to meat and seasonal vegetables.
Every dish is made exclusively by typical and l seasonal products and is accompanied by excellent wines from the wine cellar which carries local, regional and national labels all carefully selected to delight even the most demanding palate.
